Not impressed. Expensive for a rusty place, require adult with kids and charge a "spectator" fee for people not swimming. Lifeguards are not super attentive and seem to have different rules for each one (i.e. can the balls be in tje swirl pool or not? Can the liitles go down the baby slide on their belly or not? Depends i guess). Prices also were different than webpage. Birthday party space (tables in a corner) are shared with other parties.

No, I am not kidding.

I have a 2 and 3 year old and they LOVED the kids Area.

There is a regular that goes here that gets drunk and tells the staff to kick kids out for ridiculous reasons.

Petty Petty PETTY

I noticed there are a lot of people complaining about the spectator fees. I'm pretty surprised about this honestly. Why would it be free to be in their facility? It's private property. It makes complete sense to me, I guess; everyone has to sign a waiver. If it was free to be a spectator, people would just lie about being spectators and just go swimming instead. I'm sure one sour apple ruined it for the whole bunch. Besides, it's only a $7 fee. Just pay the extra few bucks and swim with your kids... the waterpark is a lot of fun, even for grown ups! :)

The price was great... 16 bucks for admission AND you get free drink hotdog and chips.

She also physically assaulted one of our party. (We aren't petty enough to report a shoulder bump to the police)

All three slides were fast and fun!

Consult with your legal department you will find out that I am right. Stop letting drunk customers emotionally attack children using your staff. The correct thing is to kick out both parties thus forcing them to let it go or work it out on their on time. If your gunna kick out our kid you gotta kick one of them out too. If someone gets a little too tipsy the correct move is to provide them water and food free of charge.

First of all shame on Holiday inn for not training their staff in Dram shop law. How did this lady become intoxicated? How about the poolside full service bar.

He is fetched by family a short while later and we began to hang out again after he was done crying. Then a supervisor approached us to tell us that the lady is complaining about him being back in the pool so supervisor had to kick him out for the day. Supervisor admittedly said it was BS that she was a regular who frequently does this and said it wasn't worth fighting because she would cause a much bigger scene. Supervisor got specific, I won't, due to the graphic nature. He also said this was the last straw for him at this workplace because it wasn't worth the headache she and others cause on a regular basis.

This place is amazing. Great for kids of all ages!

So instead of kicking out the drunk lady who wasn't watching their kids (Unlawful BTW) They kicked out a supervised 10 year old based on here-say. Legally speaking (Relax it's petty) it's easy for me to prove you kicked out a kid for nothing but overserved the complaining party then continued to serve her... A DIRECT VIOLATION OF DRAM SHOP LAW. I could sue and win for the price of the ticket and for the emotional suffering of a child who didn't deserve this. BUT IT IS PETTY JUST LIKE THE DRUNK LADY WHO COMPLAINS ABOUT 10 YEAR OLD KIDS.

The lazy river was nice too, for being indoors.

I will definitely be going back!

Deal is before 3pm so perfect for lunch time. And kids under 3 get in for free!

I have gone here for years and love the hotel and have to say the pool standards have improved, not that it was horrible to begin with. Two negatives one is the resteraunt, had a burger, need seasoned and my omelet in the morning was not cooked all the way. The whites were running, i simply asked to have them put it back on the pan for a little bit, not even to remake, it came back out and it flipped over, wasnt hot and didnt appear to have anything done to it. I flipped it over and slimey egg whites dripped onto the plate. Of course they offered to remake or substitute but at that point i am not going to reorder from any resteraunt. Second negstive they redid the fun zone and elimated prizes for games and the craft section was out of most of the paints, balls deflated and needing replacing. Have to say we spent 10 minutes maybe in the fun zone and it was not worth the money anymore big disappointment. Upon check out i turned in my keys and didnt have the warm customer sercice like ive always had in the 30 plus times staying there and was simply told that my reciept should of been under the door. No thanks for staying, no how was your stay, no hopefully we will see you soon, this one person im sure was an isolated incident but she was a drag.

What happened, a ten year old was horsing around and splashing (My nephew) imagine that. Her daughters complained to her about his behavior (Apparently choking and scratching, I doubt it) and approached him. I analyzed the situation and thought it best to chastise him to settle the dispute, despite witnesses claiming it never happened, I yelled at him and he stormed off. I figured it was over at this point because you know it is petty and he is 10.

There are three large slides, a lazy river, a fun basketball area, and a great kids wading/swim area as well. Our room was large, comfortable, and reasonably priced. There are gas stations, restaurants, and a Super Target within walking distance of the hotel. The bar attached to the hotel was open late and had great drink specials. Holiday Inn's across the country continue to please my fiance and I, we look forward to each stay! Overall, we had an amazing time, and hope to return for another staycation soon. 5/5! Zero complaints!

Minnesota's best kept secret! Another fantastic stay. I used to have my birthday parties here as a kid, and I always remembered how fun it was. Many years later, I came back for a romantic weekend with my fiance. We both enjoy waterparks and swimming, and even though we don't have kids yet, we had a blast! Quick and easy check-in, friendly and courteous staff. The water park is just as fun as I'd remembered it.

Only thing I would add is the water park needs slide pads at the end of the kitty slides.
